Privacy notice
Last updated: 9 November 2026.
This notice explains what personal data airclinical collects through this website and by email, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. We have written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email hello@airclinical.io.
Who we are
airclinical is the trading name of Airclinical Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14649656), at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. We are the controller of the personal data described here. We have applied to register with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@airclinical.io, or by post at the address above.
When you send us an enquiry
When you use our contact form we collect your name, work email address, company, phone number if you give it, what you need help with, your organisation type, how you heard about us if you tell us, and your message. We also record the page you sent the form from and the page you were on just before it, so we know which parts of our site are useful.
We use this to reply to you, to discuss and provide our services, and to keep a record of our conversations with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
When you sign up for regulatory updates
If you sign up for our regulatory updates, we collect your email address, the page you signed up on and the date you confirmed. We send you a confirmation email first, and only send updates once you have confirmed.
We send an email when clinical trial regulation changes in a way that matters to sponsors, and a short note in any month without one. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.
Our email provider records whether an email was delivered and opened and which links were clicked. We use this only in aggregate, to see which topics are useful.
When you visit our website
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views, see which sites refer visitors to us, and measure how fast pages load. They do not use cookies and do not identify you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used and keeping it working well.
Our website does not use cookies or store anything in your browser.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Vercel, which hosts our website and provides its analytics.
- Attio, our customer relationship management system, where enquiries are stored.
- Slack, which notifies our team when an enquiry arrives.
- MailerLite, which sends our regulatory updates and stores subscribers' details.
- Google Workspace, which provides our email.
We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Our use of AI
We use Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic, to help draft our regulatory updates from public regulatory publications, and to summarise our website's performance in an internal weekly report. We do not send it your name, contact details or message. The weekly report uses only categories from enquiries, such as what an enquiry was about and how the person heard about us. A person checks everything before it is published or acted on.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside the UK. MailerLite stores data in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Where data goes elsewhere, for example to the United States, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as our contract and the law require.
- Regulatory updates: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your email address on a suppression list so that we never email you again by mistake.
- Website analytics: Vercel keeps aggregated figures that do not identify you.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@airclinical.io. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when how we use personal data changes, and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be flagged to subscribers.
